CRYSTAL PALACE'S annual Overground festival will be held on Saturday August 13th - with several smaller events in the week leading up to the big day.
This year's festival will include live music, poetry, theatre, comedy, film, food and fashion in the area around the Triangle 'hub'.
Westow Park - behind Sainsbury's - will host another festival 'hub' where there will be arts workshops, sports, children's activities and 'entertainment for the whole family'.
Festival organiser Noreen Meehan said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for the people of Crystal Palace to come together for a great day out. And with London Overground's media support we also hope to attract crowds from the surrounding areas to visit our thriving community.
Noreen, who has taken over organising the festival from Andy Stem of Bambino in Church Road, added: "We want to build on the achievements of good will created over the past four years delivering an event that reflects and promotes the values and aspirations of Crystal Palace, its people and businesses.
The festival is also supported by the Crystal Palace and Norwood Chamber of Commerce; solicitors Amphlett Lissimore and PMS Printers.
