BRICKBATS AND BOUQUETS

A bouquet to: Do South, the quirky furniture shop who have opened up on the corner of Westow Street and Central Hill, for replacing the somewhat battered pavement area outside the former newsagents.

A bouquet to: Blue Door Bicycles who have taken over the former Talbot Cycles shop and the old TeleTech shop to the left of it. Renovations uncovered tiling from the old dairy which traded in both shops.

The tiles have been left - along with one bit of antique glass from the original shop, and an antique replacement. Add Blue Door to your list of 'places to visit' round the Triangle when you have friends or relatives staying.

A bouquet to: the landlords of Soulcialize, new coffee shop which has opened to the left of Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward. They repaired all the upper side wall visible from Westow Street

And the brickbat: to the idiot or idiots who then somehow got on to the roof of the afore-mentioned Kinleigh, Folkard and Hayward and plastered their inane 'tags' over all that nice new repair work......
